Doret, Locle, Switzerland, 17 jewels, stem wind and lever set, damascened, nickel bar movement with counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, gold center jewel setting and wolf's tooth winding in an 18 karat yellow gold, intricately engraved and with black enamel hunting case, the covers decorated with Greek key, a classical urn with flowers and music themed trophy, inside of front cover engraved "Lena March 4th 1886", and Roman numeral, single sunk white enamel dial, signed "P.H. Doret Locle", gilt, paste set arrow hands, serial #14543, 42mm, 64.6g TW, c1880.

CASE: Band with splits near hinges; Minor scratches on case; Ding in band at back cover hinge; Minor scratches and loss to enamel; Fine scratches on cuvette; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Fine scratches. HANDS: Replaced. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Nickel finish slightly hazy; A few minor scratches on winding wheels.
